Located at 1100 N Atherton St, State College, PA 16803, Fire & Fig Grill operates as an other food place serving State College in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group holds listings that did not fit cleanly into a food or drink category, mostly businesses that were pulled in alongside a restaurant in the same shopping plaza or that combine several kinds of service, such as a market with an attached clinic or a strip-mall unit that also does phone repair or tax preparation. The details here come from the public listing rather than a curated food write-up, so treat the category label loosely and check the business's own hours and services before visiting. Some of these are legitimate neighbors of the food businesses on this site, such as a nail salon or a laundromat in the same strip mall, while others are simply miscategorized on the source data and worth a quick call to confirm what they actually offer.
Hours are published for 1 day a week. On most of those days it is open 10 AMβ3 PM. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 237-2096. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is firenfig.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 106 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded other food places in State College.
State College is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and State College follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The experience at Fire & Fig was kinda poor. Some of these are smaller inconveniences but made the overall experience bad. When we arrived we had to wait to be seated. Once seated, it took a very long time to order as there was only 1 server. We felt bad for them but there werenβt many other patrons, maybe 2 other groups. Once we were able to order, we were told multiple times that they were out of many items on the menu, like 10 items. Half the party was vegetarian and there were not good options for them to begin with, and many of those options were unavailable. One of our party members was late so we ordered ahead of time. After they arrived and got their menu, their order wasnβt taken for almost 20 minutes. The food then took over an hour to be ready. One person had ordered a salad and last minute we were told they had just ran out. We were the only other group at this point. We eventually got our food and some portions were small. They did not give us utensils initially and we had to ask for them. When they brought out the utensils they laid them on the table which did not look clean enough, but the table was clearly at least wiped down. For the food I got the soltani keba

I love Persian food and I got excited to see this restaurant close to home. Tried the lamb kobideh with rice and it did not disappoint. Food was very juicy and rich in flavor. It's nice having different type of food in this area. You have to try it to believe it. Definitely will come back to try other items off the menu.

Came for lunch with family as we were craving for kababs. The interior has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There are 3 of us. We ordered the appetizer platter to start, which came with 2 eggplant dips, basket of pita breads and a lentil soup. All were delicious and super flavorful. A great choice if you want to try a little bit of everything. We also ordered the cucumber tomato onion salad which was really refreshing. For kabab, we got the Combo Koobideh lunch special. The meats were moist and nicely seasoned. Saffron rice was fluffy and well cooked. Make sure you sprinkle some sumac to for a slight tangy contrast. We were stuffed and had to pack some leftovers home. Overall, a very solid meal and definitely scratched that kabab itch. Service is fast and friendly. Our server is knowledgeable and gave us good recommendations. Iβd come back again!

Very welcoming experience and food is authentic. Tasted like home. they also have specials such as honeydew smoothies ( aab talebi) and dough ( ayran). I did not think prices are high at all; a quality Persian food can not be cheap if they use good ingredients. I loved everything we ordered and can not wait to come back. It was so good we visited both nights we were starting at State College.

Warm atmosphere. Limited menu currently, but everything we had was delicious. I ate almost half of it before remembering to take pictures. We had the 3 dips - all three were great but the kashk-e bademjan in particular blew us away! Also had the zereshk polo with chicken entree, and the chicken fell right off the bone. The boogh is a sour yogurt drink with mint that paired nicely with the food and was a big full glass. Plenty of food to take home, too, which I'm excited to eat tomorrow :)
